A Being's Nature is that which cannot be changed without that Being becoming a different kind of Being. The boundaries of a Being are marked by its systole and its diastole, and these are the gateways to other Natures. A Being changing past its systole becomes a lesser type of Being, a Being of a lesser Nature. A Being changing past its diastole becomes a Being of a greater Nature. In the case of Humanity, this latter process is called apotheosis.

Talon Nature
Talon Nature is the set of all essential characteristics of Talon; and there is Human Nature, which is the set of all essential characteristics belonging to Humans.
Human Nature
Put differently: a Being's Nature is that which cannot undergo change past its systole or diastole, without that Being becoming a different Being. A Being itself undergoing change beyond its systole means the death of that Being. A Being undergoing change beyond its diastole means the apotheosis of that Being.
