The Entities are a unique class of nonThings in that, while they cannot be directly sensed, they can nevertheless be used to leverage the Things, such as in calculation and measurement. The Entities are the basis of all quantity.
Knowledge of the Entities and guidance in their use are among the set of tools known as techne which Talon has given to Humanity for use in the Work.
The Entities listed from One to Ten are cataloged in the Book of Ten.
