A Being's Nature is that which cannot be changed without that Being becoming a different kind of Being.

The boundaries of a Being are marked by its systole and its diastole, and these are the gateways to other Natures. A Being changing past its systole becomes a lesser type of Being, a Being of a lesser Nature. A Being changing past its diastole becomes a Being of a greater Nature. In the case of Humanity, this latter process is called apotheosis, and it is whereby you and your spouse put off your Human Nature and take on Talon Nature.

Human Nature

Human Nature is characterized by its being midway between the lower Natures and Talon Nature.
