Plants are the last living remnant from any previous Orbit of Time, specifically the Third Orbit. This is in order that you and your spouse may have a ready means of sustenance available to you.
The source of all plant life in Anesidore is the Rose Garden, located at center of the planet. Each of the Six Orbits of Space intersects the Rose Garden, enabling access to it in during the Work every ten days.
