Change is the process whereby some or all of the properties of a Thing are added to or subtracted from.

Change occurs in one of two ways:

Generally, if change causes a Thing to move past its systole or diastole, it becomes some Thing else.

Beings are not directly subject to change, since a Being can never become anything other than him or herself. Rather a Being's nature may be changed, again either systolically or diastolically, and through the same ways listed above.
