Work is how you and your spouse serve Talon in the halls of Anesidore and approach apotheosis.
Through the passage of Time, systolic change happens to the physical structure of the Six Orbits of Space. Thus you are tasked with overcoming the effects of Time on Anesidore, which is only right and proper seeing as it is your home, crafted for you by Talon. Thus by your work you repay your debt of existence to Talon, who also created both you and your spouse.
