Knowledge of the Entities and guidance in their use are among the set of tools known as [[techne]] which Talon has given to [[Humanity]] for use in the [[Work]].
The Entities are a unique class of [[nonThings]] in that, while they cannot be directly sensed, they can nevertheless be used in ways that apply to leverage to the [[Things]], such as in calculation and measurement. The Entities are the basis of all quantity.
The Entities listed from One to Ten are cataloged in the [[Book of Ten]], one of [[Talon]]’s gifts to [[Humanity]].
