Generally, if change causes a Thing to move past its [[systole]] or [[diastole]], it becomes some Thing else.
Beings as such are not directly subject to change, since a Being can never become anything other than him or herself. Rather a [[Being]]'s [[nature]] may be changed, again either systolically or diastolically, and through the same ways listed above.
